Summer is not over yet, with high pressure and plenty of sunshine expected across Sweden, SVT reports. Temperatures will rise above 20 degrees in large parts of the country, according to SVT meteorologist Marcus Sjöstedt.

Western Sweden is expected to be warmest, with temperatures potentially exceeding 25 degrees in parts of Skåne, Halland and Västergötland.

“It will be a little chilly in the morning, but by the afternoon you will probably take off your sweater,” Sjöstedt says.

The exception will be the mountains and inland areas of Norrland, where temperatures will be somewhat lower.
