Norwegian airline Widerøe has stopped flying to the Faroe Islands earlier than planned, Kringvarp Føroya reports. The airline’s final flight was on Friday.

Widerøe initially told Vágar Airport that it planned to operate the route from late March until late October as part of its summer schedule. The airline later revised the plan, announcing that flights would run only from June 19 to August 21.

Icelandair will operate flights to the Faroe Islands three times a week this winter.
