Mbl.is reports on the newly established Migraine Association and the challenges faced by people living with migraines.

Migraine is a neurological disorder that affects women considerably more often than men. It has long been something of a mystery, and the options available vary from one patient to another.

Some people manage their symptoms with painkillers, while others need specialised migraine medication. Many patients also have to make choices and adjust their lives because of the condition.

Thelma Lind Karlsdóttir spoke to Morgunblaðið about the new organisation.
