Ferry carries record 3,211 people to Ovastevna

Ferry Ternan carried 6,522 passengers to and from Ovastevna between Saturday morning and Sunday morning, KVF reports.

A total of 3,211 people travelled from Havn to Nólsoy, the highest number recorded so far.

Last year, Ternan carried 6,490 passengers, 32 fewer than this year. The total was 3,923 in 2023.

Standfaraskip landsins, the ferry operator, transported 956 people on the Friday this year. That figure was 1,035 last year and 705 in 2024.
