DR maps Danes’ porn habits in new quiz

DR has examined how Danes use pornography, finding wide differences in how much they watch and what they choose. The broadcaster presents the findings in a quiz.

Denmark has long taken pride in its liberal attitudes, dating back to when it became the first country to make pornography legal.

Much has changed since the first sex-themed films were taken down from shelves and teenagers bought pornographic magazines at petrol stations. The internet now offers an almost unlimited selection, ranging from cartoons to gangbangs and everything in between.

The quiz explores how much pornography Danes watch, what they watch and what they use it for.

It is based on an Epinion survey of Danish pornography habits commissioned by DR, as well as figures from the pornography website Pornhub on Danish consumption in 2025.
