Áfram Ísland movement holds meeting in Vestmannaeyjar

The Áfram Ísland movement is holding an open meeting at the Golf Clubhouse in Vestmannaeyjar on Saturday, mbl.is reports.

The meeting begins at noon and will feature three speakers: former Prime Minister Geir H. Haarde, Valmundur Valmundsson, chairman of the Icelandic Seamen’s Association, and Sigurður Arnar Magnússon, an employee of Laxey and player for ÍBV.

Íris Róbertsdóttir, mayor of Vestmannaeyjabær, will chair the meeting. It will be broadcast live.
