Court remands man accused of stealing from three shops

Føroya Rættur, the Faroe Islands’ court, remanded a man in custody for two weeks on Friday, KVF reported.

The man is accused of stealing goods from three shops in Tórshavn and Eysturoy. He is a foreign national who has worked in the Faroe Islands for several months.

Police said he allegedly stole clothing and electronic goods. He will spend the two-week remand period in Mjørkadal.
