Two cars collide on Gøtueiði, causing long traffic queue

Two cars collided on Gøtueiði on Friday afternoon, causing a long traffic queue, Kringvarp Føroya reported. Police said the crash appeared to be less serious than initially reported.

Police received a report of the collision shortly after 1pm. Traffic was disrupted, with only one lane open while the area was cleared.

Police advised people not to drive on Gøtueiði unless necessary while the clearance work continued.
