Silver Star stayed below permitted noise limits at Tvøroyri

The cargo ship Silver Star did not exceed permitted noise levels while docked at Tvøroyri, according to the Faroese public broadcaster KVF.
Tvøroyri Municipality and Tvøroyri Harbour received a complaint from Liviligum korum about noise from the ship.
Sound measurements carried out on Thursday showed that the noise was 5.3 decibels below the applicable night-time limit and 7.3 decibels below the daytime limit, the municipality said.
