Police investigate flares used by Croatian fans during HB match at Tórsvøllur in Faroe Islands

The police are unaware of the origins of the flares used by Croatian fans during the recent match between HB and Hajduk Split on Thursday evening at Tórsvøllur.

Authorities have requested boat owners to check if any flares have gone missing from their vessels. However, no one has reported any missing items, leaving the police without leads regarding the source of the flares.

During the match, a police officer was hit three times in the neck. This incident is being treated as a serious assault, although the police have not yet identified the assailant.
