A band of rain in the north will remain almost stationary over Kainuu, Koillismaa and southern Lapland. Showers will reach southern Finland during the afternoon and evening, while a dry and sunny zone will remain between the rain areas in central Finland.
The slow-moving rain area will remain in the north on Friday. In the south, showers will move eastwards. Friday is expected to be dry and sunny in southern and central Finland, while Lapland will see extensive cloud cover.
