Tórshavn seeks interest in building plots in Hestur

Tórshavn Municipality is assessing whether there is interest in building homes and holiday houses in Hestur village, KVF reports.

More than 3,200 square metres are available at the southern end of the village. The plan is to divide the land into smaller building plots.

No project has yet been prepared, so questions about plot sizes, costs, the timetable and conditions will remain unanswered until the municipality receives the survey results. The findings will be used to determine whether there is a basis for developing the plan further.

The deadline for responding to the survey is noon on September 17. It is available on torshavn.fo.
