SOK begins negotiations affecting about 900 employees

Finnish cooperative retail group SOK has begun change negotiations covering about 900 employees, Yle reports.

SOK estimates that the negotiations could lead to the end of up to 13 existing roles, while many other duties could change significantly.

“Our main task as a cooperative retail group is to serve our customer-owners and ensure an affordable shopping basket and cost competitiveness in the future as well,” SOK CEO Hannu Krook said in a statement.
