SVT’s Sverige Live returns on Monday with new hosts, a new veterinary advice segment and a revised schedule designed to make the programme more cohesive.
William Brynolfsson, who was a sidekick on the programme in the spring, will become one of the regular hosts this autumn alongside Karin Frick. The presenting team will also include Jovan Radomir, Farah Abadi, Pernilla Månsson Colt, Camilla Kvartoft, Victoria Dyring and Yvette Hermundstad.
The programme will continue to feature current affairs, guests and recurring segments including cooking, Gör om mig, Bokklubben, quizzes, segments with Anne Lundberg and Kungligt with Ebba Kleberg von Sydow.
New veterinary advice segment
A new segment, Fråga veterinären, will air every Thursday and answer viewers’ questions about animals. Veterinarians Jeremias Wedin and Emelie Hertz will travel to pet owners in an equipped emergency bus to help with common problems.
The editorial team has also responded to audience criticism that the programme could feel disorganised. Fråga doktorn, which previously featured daily, will now be broadcast on Mondays to create a clearer structure.
Alcohol will be the first topic discussed on the autumn season of Fråga doktorn. The programme will examine when increased drinking becomes risky drinking. Doctor Jens Persson and lecturer Anna Pierre will answer questions in a chat from 4.30pm to 6pm.
Eva Dahlgren to appear in season premiere
Artist Eva Dahlgren will be the guest in the season premiere. Presenter Malin Olsson will discuss the new programme Silent attraction, while Carina Bergfeldt will talk about the new series Alla mina bokstäver.
Jovan Radomir and Farah Abadi will host the premiere and have promised to perform salsa in the style of Bad Bunny. “I would rather die than dance on television,” Abadi said with a laugh.
The Saturday editions of Sverige Live will begin after the election, on September 19.
