Police arrest man after uncovering cannabis farm in Króksfjarðarnes

Police in the Westfjords arrested a man in Króksfjarðarnes last week and discovered an extensive cannabis cultivation operation in the house where he was staying, mbl.is reports.

Police seized a large number of cannabis plants and extensive cultivation equipment. The man was subsequently remanded in custody for one week.

The Westfjords police are investigating the case, with assistance from police in West Iceland and the technical division of the Capital Region police.
