Police called after guest refused to leave home
Police were called to Breiðholt in Reykjavík overnight after a resident reported trouble with a guest who refused to leave, mbl.is reports.
The incident was among 103 cases recorded in the Reykjavík metropolitan police log between 5pm and 5am.
Police in Hafnarfjörður also received a report of an attempted break-in at a building.
In Grafarvogur, a driver under the influence of drugs was stopped and arrested after a police pursuit. The driver is expected to face charges for several traffic offences. A passenger in the vehicle was also arrested and held in a cell after allegedly assaulting police.
