Milling work to close Ring Road through Borgarnes

Milling work will close the Ring Road through Borgarnes on Sunday and Monday nights, mbl.is reports.

The work is planned from 9pm to 7am on August 16 and 17, covering the section from Borgarbraut to the bridge over Borgarfjörður.

A marked detour will run via Borgarfjarðarbraut while the road is closed.

Drivers are asked to follow signs and speed limits and take care near the work zones. The areas are narrow, with workers and equipment operating very close to the traffic lanes.
