Yle reports that southern and western Finland will be warm and often sunny on Saturday, with temperatures in the southwest possibly exceeding the heat threshold.
Cloudy and considerably cooler conditions are expected in the north and parts of eastern Finland. Scattered rain will also affect northern areas, while thunderstorms are expected to develop in the Ostrobothnian regions during the late afternoon and evening.
On Sunday, a low-pressure system will deepen over Finland and rain will become more widespread in central parts of the country. Some of the rain may be accompanied by thunderstorms.
The south and southeast are expected to be the sunniest and warmest areas. Northern Finland will remain mostly cloudy and cool, although temperatures will be higher than on Saturday.
