US surveys NATO allies on support for its policies

The United States has sent NATO countries a questionnaire measuring their support for US policy, and Finland has received one, Yle reports. Finland’s Ministry of Defence confirmed that it is preparing a response.

Bloomberg reported that the questionnaire was sent before the United States decides on its commitments in Europe.

The questions include how publicly each country has supported US foreign policy and what restrictions it has placed on the use of US military bases.
