The fast ferry Regine Normann may return to service on Saturday after suffering bow damage in a collision with the quay at Bolga last Friday, NRK reports, citing Helgelands Blad.

The vessel, which normally operates on the Nordland Express, is being repaired in Svolvær. Until it returns, the Jernøy is operating the route, Boreal spokesperson Jon Kristian Fadnes told Helgelands Blad.

“If the work proceeds as planned, we hope the vessel will be ready to operate again during Saturday,” Fadnes said.

The cause of the collision has not been established. The shipping company said it was reviewing the incident according to its procedures to determine what happened.
