Flights resume at Vága Airport after weather cancellations

Flights have resumed at Vága Airport, KVF reports. Several aircraft arrived this morning, and one has already departed.

A total of 21 arrivals and 18 departures are scheduled for today. The flight from Poznan carrying football players is due to arrive at 10.30am.

Poor visibility at Vága Airport caused all flights in the afternoon and evening to be cancelled yesterday.

Vága Airport handled 76,978 passengers in July, an increase of 7.3 per cent from July last year. Between January 1 and August 1, passenger numbers reached 293,179, up 6.3 per cent year on year.
