Eiði gets clear view of 91 percent solar eclipse

Kringvarp Føroya reported that the Moon blocked 91 percent of the Sun in the Faroe Islands, with Eiði getting a relatively clear view of the eclipse.

Although much of the country was heavily overcast, the unusual natural phenomenon was visible in Eiði. Jónfinn Stenberg captured the moment.

Eiði was also overcast during the 2015 solar eclipse.
