One taken to hospital after two-car crash

One person was taken to hospital after a two-car crash at the intersection of Miklabraut and Grensásvegur late Tuesday night, mbl.is reported.

According to the Capital District Fire and Rescue Service, two ambulances and a fire engine were sent to the scene.

The police log said both vehicles were removed by a tow truck. One person was detained in connection with the investigation on suspicion of driving under the influence and driving without a licence.
