Dill spice recalled over possible insect in jars

Salling Øko Dild dill spice has been recalled in Iceland because the jars may contain an insect, mbl.is reports. The product was sold at Bónus and Hagkaup.

Aðföng began the recall at the request of Salling Group. It applies to 15-gram jars with lot number 007221 and a best-before date of 15 September 2027, and lot number 009157 with a best-before date of 25 March 2028.

Customers who bought the product are advised not to consume it. They can return it to the store where it was purchased for a full refund.

Aðföng apologised to Bónus and Hagkaup customers who may have experienced inconvenience as a result of the recall.
