Third suspect remanded over man’s death

A third suspect in the death of a man at an apartment building on Vallargerði in Kársnes on Sunday has been remanded in custody until August 14, mbl.is reports.

Police in the capital region said the man is a foreign citizen.

Two other suspects were remanded in custody earlier on Monday in connection with the case. One is an Icelandic citizen and the other is a foreign citizen. One was remanded until August 17 and the other until August 21.

The deceased was a foreign citizen in his forties. He died from his injuries at Landspítali hospital.
