Vehicle sales continue to grow, Kringvarp Føroya (KVF) reports. A total of 138 new vehicles were registered in July, 13 more than in the same month last year.
By 1 August, 149 more vehicles had been registered during the first seven months of the year than during the corresponding period last year.
The increase is mainly driven by passenger cars, with 74 more registered this year. However, three fewer passenger cars were registered in July than in July last year.
Some used cars are also being brought into the country, but their number is slightly lower this year than last year.
