Tórshavn seeks power to restrict short-term rentals

Tórshavn Municipality is calling on the Faroese parliament to give municipalities the authority to restrict short-term rentals, KVF reported.

Elsa Berg, mayor of Tórshavn Municipality, said the housing market should serve people who intend to live permanently in homes rather than use them for short-term rentals.
