Prosecutor seeks up to 13 years in Heinola driving case

Yle reports that prosecutors are seeking an 11 to 13 year prison sentence for a 30 year old man accused of killing one person and attempting to kill three others by driving a car into them in Heinola in December 2025.
The man faces a total of six charges. The charges were read at the Päijät-Häme District Court on Monday.
He is suspected of deliberately driving into a 20 year old local man who was walking on a pavement. The victim died.
