Rain will sweep across Finland on Monday and Tuesday
Yle reports that Sunday will remain mostly dry across Finland, but a broad area of rain will move over the country at the start of the week.
Sunday will be fairly windy, with changeable conditions. Western Finland can expect mostly sunny weather, while isolated showers are likely in the east. Rain will be more common in northern Lapland.
Temperatures will reach around 22 degrees Celsius in the south, while the north will be cooler at about 15 degrees.
On Monday, the rain will arrive first in western and northern Finland. Eastern parts of the country may still see sunshine and warm weather before the rain spreads there. Winds will strengthen and become gusty across much of the country.
Unsettled weather will continue on Tuesday, with rain expected across Finland. Umbrellas and clothing suitable for wet weather will be needed at the start of the week.
