Rain and wind to sweep much of Finland on Friday
Yle reports that much of Finland will have unsettled weather on Friday, with rain and temperatures ranging from 10 to 20 degrees Celsius.
Continuous rain is expected in North Ostrobothnia and southern Lapland, while areas farther south will see showers.
Temperatures in southern and central Finland will remain just below 20 degrees. In southern Lapland, temperatures will reach only around 10 degrees in some places, while eastern Finland may see limited readings above 20 degrees.
The day will also be fairly windy in southern and central Finland and over the sea.
From Saturday, southern and central Finland are expected to remain dry. Rain should clear from North Ostrobothnia and areas farther north on Sunday. Temperatures in southern and central Finland may rise above 20 degrees over the weekend, although heatwave readings are unlikely.
