Rain is likely to avoid most of the major moments at the Summarfestival music festival, while winds are expected to remain light, according to KVF. Meteorologist Hanus Kjølbro of the Faroese Meteorological Service said the latest forecasts showed there would be little wind at the festival.

“The rain that comes will avoid the major moments at the Summarfestival, for the most part,” Kjølbro said.

The unsettled weather is being caused by a low-pressure system moving directly towards the Faroe Islands, which means the forecasts could change considerably. Kjølbro said he was most looking forward to hearing Rasmus Seebach on Friday evening.
