Motorcyclist seriously injured in rear-end crash in Sipoo

A motorcyclist was seriously injured after hitting the back of a stationary passenger car on Massby Bridge in Sipoo on Wednesday evening, Yle reports.

The first alert about the traffic accident came shortly before 6 p.m. An ambulance took the motorcyclist to hospital.

The driver and three children in the passenger car were not injured.

Rescue units, ambulances, a medical emergency field supervisor and a medical helicopter were at the scene. Uusi Porvoontie was completely closed during the rescue operation.
