Finnish artist Pyhimys faces charges over three offences

Finnish artist Pyhimys, whose real name is Mikko Kuoppala, has been charged with driving while intoxicated, driving without a licence and a drug use offence, Yle reports, citing Helsingin Sanomat.

According to the newspaper, the alleged offences took place in Espoo in spring 2025. The Espoo District Court is due to hear the case in two weeks.

Pyhimys was reported to have taken sick leave in July. Kuoppala said he was suffering from work-related exhaustion.
