Østfold, car accident, Råde

Four men in their twenties from Oslo were injured when a car crashed into a house in Råde, Østfold on Friday, reports Dagbladet. None of the injuries are considered life-threatening, according to a Monday statement from Øst Police District.

The driver has been charged with careless driving. His defence lawyer, Usama Ahmad, told Dagbladet that his client will be questioned by police in the near future, though the exact timing remains uncertain.

Witnesses, including a neighbour, reported the car was travelling at high speed before the crash. The vehicle first struck a garden before hitting the house on Mosseveien. No one inside the house was injured.

Police are investigating the incident to reconstruct the sequence of events and determine the cause. “We are still in the early stages of the investigation,” said police prosecutor Ingrid Skahjem.
