Fire rescued from burning boat in Moss

Four people were rescued from a burning sailboat in Moss on Friday evening, according to a report by Dagbladet.

Operations manager Ronny Hellerud Samuelsen of the police press service stated that the fire originated in the boat’s engine. Four individuals—two men and two women in their 20s—were taken aboard a rescue vessel. One person suffered burns and was transported to hospital, while two others inhaled smoke.

A rescue vessel from the Norwegian Society for Sea Rescue secured the boat, and emergency services, including police and fire crews, responded to the scene. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
