Construction firm YIT saw revenue rise to €472 million and adjusted operating profit climb to €19 million in the second quarter of 2026, according to a company release cited by Yle.

The figures mark a clear improvement in profitability over the same period last year, when revenue was €465 million and adjusted operating profit stood at €14 million.

CEO Heikki Vuorenmaa attributed the gains to a decision to focus housing investments on growing markets in eastern Central Europe, while noting that Finland’s overall construction market turned to growth in the first half of the year.
