Large fire in boathouse in Sørvágur

Police have called on the public to stay away from a large fire in a boathouse in Sørvágur, Faroe Islands, to allow firefighters to work.

Emergency services received a report of the fire shortly after noon on Saturday. Firefighters are at the scene and are working to extinguish the blaze.

Police have no reports of anyone injured or trapped inside the boathouse, according to the duty officer.
