Festivals proceed smoothly in Vestmannaeyjar despite weather warnings

Five individuals were detained overnight primarily due to intoxication. The festival’s current weather conditions are not ideal, as a yellow weather warning is in effect beginning at 10 AM due to strong easterly winds, lasting until 6 PM. The police are preparing for potential weather-related challenges, although the situation remains calm at this time.
