Finnkinolla cinema chain suffers technical failure in ticket sales

Finnkino’s nationwide cinema chain reported a technical failure on Friday that prevents redemption of pre-booked tickets at box offices.

The malfunction affects only the in-person collection of reserved seats; online and mobile purchases remain operational, the company said in a statement carried by national broadcaster Yle.

Cinema managers warned that customers may face longer-than-usual queues while the issue persists. Finnkino apologised for the inconvenience and said it was working to resolve the disruption as quickly as possible.
