Shots fired at Farsund home, two suspects detained
Police in Agder district responded to a private address in Farsund municipality Thursday afternoon following reports of multiple shots fired at a residence, Dagbladet reports.
By 16:11, authorities confirmed they had detained two suspected individuals and considered the situation resolved, with no ongoing threat to the area. Operations leader Frode Vang stated that a man in his 40s and a man in his 50s have been charged in connection with the incident. One person has been registered as a victim.
A brief vehicle pursuit of approximately one kilometer preceded the arrests. Electroshock weapons were used during the detention. The suspects had reportedly left the scene before police arrival.
No injuries were reported. Police have cordoned off a 300-meter security zone around the location to preserve potential evidence and are now securing traces on individuals and objects, as well as collecting statements from those involved.
