Ammonia leak triggers warning in Suomussalmi

Authorities in Suomussalmi, Kainuu, have issued a hazard warning after ammonia was detected in the air in the Kurimo and Siikaranta areas early Wednesday, Yle reports.

Residents are advised to avoid the area, stay indoors, close ventilation systems, and await further notice before the all-clear is given.
