A child was struck by a car in Helsinki’s Töölö district on Monday, according to a report from Yle.
The child had suddenly entered the roadway and was hit by the vehicle, which police said was traveling at a relatively low speed at the time of the collision.
No serious injuries were reported, and the child was taken for further medical care. The incident occurred on a street near Töölö Square, with police receiving the call at approximately 12:45.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
