Finnish president’s gift from Turkish leader handed to police

The revolver given to Finnish President Alexander Stubb by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has been immediately turned over to police custody, according to the Finnish presidential office.

Stubb has expressed hope that the weapon will be placed in a museum, the office stated. Erdoğan presented the personalized gift to several NATO leaders during the alliance’s summit.
