Finland’s national postal service, Posti, has resumed accepting parcels and merchandise letters bound for the United States through its online services, the company announced on its website in late June.
Customers can now send packages via Posti’s online shipping portal, where they declare the contents and pay applicable duties, service, and shipping fees before dropping the parcel at a Posti branch or a parcel locker.
In-person package shipments to the US remain unavailable at Posti service points for the time being. The company stated it will announce when this option is restored.
Posti suspended commercial freight shipments to the US in August 2025 after the Trump administration removed the duty-free exemption for shipments valued up to USD 800. Estonia, Sweden, Denmark, and Norway also halted commercial freight to the US at the same time.
