Disruptions in train services on the coastal railway line have now been resolved, according to Fintraffic. Train operations on the coastal route will return to normal starting Monday, August 5. From Monday morning, E-trains operating between Helsinki and Kauklahden will also resume their regular schedules.
Train services on the coastal line were halted after Midsummer on June 24, leading to a complete stoppage between Leppävaara and Kauklahden for five weeks. Additionally, long-distance train services between Helsinki and Turku were also suspended during this period. To accommodate passengers, bus services were provided until the end of July.
