Finnish social affairs minister gives birth to third child

Finland’s Social Affairs Minister Sanni Grahn-Laasonen has given birth to her third child, a son delivered on Monday, she announced on her Instagram account.

National Coalition Party MP Karoliina Partanen is currently serving as acting minister in her absence.

Grahn-Laasonen plans to return to her ministerial post in January and intends to run in the spring 2027 parliamentary elections, according to Yle.
