Car flipped on Highway 3 north of Iittala, one lane closed

A passenger car veered off Highway 3 just north of Iittala, flipping onto its side near a moose fence, according to Yle.

The vehicle rolled completely over, coming to rest on its roof. Emergency responders had to cut one of the two occupants free from the wreckage. Paramedics are on scene, and authorities say neither occupant is in life-threatening condition.

One northbound lane remains closed at the accident site, with reopening expected within roughly 30 minutes.
