One dead in Holmestrand traffic collision

A 20-year-old man died in a collision between a car and a motorcycle near Holmestrand on Monday evening, police in Sør-Øst confirmed to Dagbladet.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Next of kin have been notified. The car driver was treated by paramedics.
Forensic investigators and the Norwegian Public Roads Administration’s accident team are en route. The road is expected to remain closed for several hours.
