How to vote in the Seinäjoki tango festival singing contest

Voting in the Seinäjoki tango festival singing contest opens during the super final round on Saturday, July 11, 2026, and closes at 21:35, reports Yle.
The competition’s eight finalists have been narrowed by judges to two king and two queen candidates for the super final. The public then selects the winners.
Votes can be cast free of charge via Yle’s website, which requires logging in with a Yle account. Text message votes cost €1.50 each, sent to 16499 with the candidate’s number (1–4). Phone votes cost €1.52 plus local network fees, by calling 0700 790 51–54 and selecting the candidate’s number.
Proceeds from the final voting will be donated to the Mannerheim League for Child Welfare to combat loneliness among children and youth.
The final, hosted by Katja Ståhl and Mikko Kekäläinen, will air live on Yle TV1 and Yle Areena at 19:30, with additional coverage on Yle Radio Suomi.
