Faroese health authority to publish vaccination reminder guidelines in August

The Faroese Health Authority will release new guidelines on child vaccination reminders next month, the first of their kind for the agency, according to director Noomi O. Gregersen.

The guidelines follow a survey of over 5,300 parents conducted last spring, which also explored public attitudes toward potential sanctions for parents who do not follow official vaccination recommendations. Gregersen stated that there are currently no plans to introduce such measures.

The Health Authority has taken over the task from the Chief Medical Officer.
